One man stepped forward, a senator with a goal. A campaign of conquest, with his own army promising to bring forth a new era for The Dominion Of Pinzhao. Cronus laughed, all these soldiers controlled by the strings at his fingertips. The money and funds gained from his Spice empire had finally come to fruition on it's final play on the stage we call life. The most recognizable victims were his own unit he called "The Dominian Specialized Infantry Division". A blatant ripoff of what used to be The Nusians' pioneering infantry division. Many were victim to his ideology. Yang Kai, "Jupiter" was an aspiring technician who wanted to be more than what he was. Dai Yonzheng, "Pluto" was a broken man given all the tools to vent out his childish frustrations. Genji Yahui, "Artemis" lost it all, being offered a purpose in life and all the Spice she needs to stay focused. Jin Aimi, "Ceres" was told he could save more people in his division. Taio Yuze, "Mercury" was a young prodigy, made to create innovations that none had seen before. Once his job was finished, he was sent off to his death. Xia Sun, "Vulcan" was forced to work in the division due to her augmented parts taking Cronus's interest. Aigo Jun, "Virtus" was an expendable adrenaline craving monster, being given all he wanted to really feel the thrill of life. Guo Haoran, "Iliad" excelled in every physical front, being fueled further by stimulants and drugs. His leadership and wisdom was simply phenomenal. Kanashii Zhang, "Perseus" was offered to get revenge on those he saw as devils. A chance to redeem his emptiness as a person. Eros Drakos, "Odysseus" was promised monetary compensation to make his and his wife's life better. A man who saw compassion in all but himself being made to kill the opposition in silence and in style. And finally, Admiral Yong Lin, a disgraced leader seeking a light in the darkness of dishonor. But now, here we are. All the money, drugs, and infamy lead to this very moment. Cronus wanted more than just Dominian superiority across the land, but his own imperialistic ideals. The Dominians were superior in his eyes. If he had so much faith in his race, blood, and body... then why did he get so many augmentations that made him virtually unrecognizable from the feeble politician he once was? There could be no more pointless wars if there is nobody to fight it. That's what he always believed. Cronus chuckled, his augmented body creaking from its circuitry. "You really kept me waiting, huh?" Eros and Guo stared across the rooftop, the only survivors of his play were there to redeem those who were lost in his strive for conquest. What stood before them was barely human. They ditched their codenames, as it was a scar on what they used to be as people. They held their old weapons, blinded by revenge. Helicopters hovered above, as three stared each other down for what seemed like eternity. There was nothing to gain here besides vengeance. Vengeance for those who had died an undeserved death for a man's foolish ideology.
