We're going to move onto something fun, here I go through the basics of creating your cloth simulation. The great thing about Maya's cloth is you can combine your cloth mesh into your bone binds and apply vertex weights to determine what will maintain its original skin shape and what will simulate as cloth.
These steps apply to Maya, however the principles should translate to other platforms. Check your 3d app help files or other online tutorials for details on achieving some of these steps.
