Chicken Broccoli Shallots & Walnuts Flatbread

A lovely time of the year is almost upon us. The celebrations of the mother’s in our life. So a mini series to offer some suggestions. Starting with the good, if you’re hosting a lunch/brunch & want something to add to the lite bites of it all, may I suggest flatbreads. In this episode I’ll show you how to make a Chicken Broccoli Walnut & Shallots Flatbread. Here’s what you need: Ingredients- Flatbread (used frozen naan) Spreadable Cheese (used Cream Cheese) Protein (used sliced sautéed chicken cutlet) Vegetables (used broccoli) Onion (used shallots) Walnuts (chopped) Lemon Instructions: Sauté chicken cutlet (seasoned with garlic powder, salt & black pepper). While chicken is sautéing prep vegetables & onions. Slice the broccoli in half lengthwise. Slice the shallots in half & the cut on the side width (short side) to get more surface area. Once chicken is done cooking, in same pan place broccoli cut side down & shallots. Cook until browned. Spread cream cheese on naan, arrange chicken, broccoli & shallots. Bake at 400° for 10 mins. Top flatbread with chopped walnuts & serve with lemon wedge. Variations: Turkey Basil w/ Balsamic Drizzle Flatbread Flatbread (Naan), Cream Cheese, Turkey (deli meat), Parmesan Cheese, Basil & Balsamic Glaze (same heating instructions) Caramelized Onions Steak w/ Arugula Flatbread Flatbread (Naan), Cream Cheese, Steak (sliced, med-rare {will cook more in oven}), Arugula(plain or dressed {tossed in vinaigrette } or other leafy greens)top with greens after baking(same heating instructions) Pea & Asparagus w/ Pesto Flatbread Flatbread (Naan), Cream Cheese, Pea pods (thinly sliced), Asparagus (sliced on a bias). After baking, top with Pesto & scallions (thinly sliced) serve with lemon wedges (same heating instructions) Here’s to celebrating those who loved us first! Enjoy! See You Soon 💋
