I hand carved her in English Lime wood.
The mechanism is made from oak, teak, pine and mahogany.
Painted in acrylic and finished in waxed.
I am a sculptor and Automata maker and have been creating automata professionally over the last 25 years. I enjoy creating the playful mechanisms and sharing them. My work has been exhibited around the world in museums and galleries. I have made commissioned pieces for public institutions and private collections.
