On August 25, the Germantown Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a $249,000 investment in new self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) cylinders for the Germantown Fire Department. Funded through the City’s Capital Improvements Program, the purchase will replace cylinders set to expire in 2026.
