The current version of CODAP, Version 2, was built with now-outdated tools and is no longer easy to maintain or extend. V3 is built on modern frameworks and is ready to serve the CODAP community for decades to come. It supports new feature development and provides a foundation for the future of entirely new data-driven tools and technologies.
V3 preserves the familiar CODAP experience. You’ll feel right at home, yet notice a fresh look—lighter colors, clearer icons, and smoother navigation. V3 also handles much larger datasets. Graphs and maps draw faster, animate more smoothly, and respond instantly. You’ll also find new features with more on the way.
