Collaborative Environment among students in classroom

KUSOEd course, Pedagogy and Assessment Practices in Inclusive and Special Needs Education. One of the courses that I am taking for my PhD, under the topic MR design for autistic children. Here, the students of BE Electronics and Communication of Nepal Engineering College, of 6th sem and 8th sem, taking the elective course on Biomedical Engineering, were taught in the class, with theme for the session as electrophysiology. The class was divided into 4 groups, with students of both 6th and 8th sem in each of the groups. This has helped in creating a diverse group. Also, the group has academically strong students grouped with comparatively lesser. Each group has around 25 minutes for discussion among each other where they can tutor each other and ultimately needs to present under the topic. They are allowed to use any means for sharing their ideas. The presentation session was good where they explore different ways for expression. The collaboration was felt not just during the group discussion but also during the presentation session in 2 of the groups distinctly.
