The new Colour Toolpath by Feedrate feature in CIMCO Edit 2025 and NC Machine Simulation makes it easier than ever to visualize and verify feedrates directly in your NC programs.
With this feature enabled, the toolpath is automatically colored using a gradient based on the cutting feedrate — from blue at low feeds to red at high feeds, with all intermediate values smoothly blended in between. This makes it simple to spot anomalies such as unexpected slowdowns or spikes that could otherwise lead to poor surface finish, tool wear, or even machine damage.
The system also highlights the minimum and maximum cutting feedrates used in the program, giving you a clear overview of performance limits.
By using Colour Toolpath by Feedrate, you can quickly identify and correct issues before running the program on the actual machine, saving time, reducing risk, and improving overall machining quality.
