Extended cut of a commercial structure fire on 12/25/25. Arrive with Ladder 5 and go to the roof for ventilation as crews work below to extinguish fire in the void space and walls.
At approximately 12:30 on 12/25/25, AFR units were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 3911 Central Ave NE. Engine 3 arrived on scene within 3 minutes and declared a working fire with smoke showing. Engine 3 caught their own water supply and deployed a 1 3/4” handline for fire control. Ladder 5 arrived and went to the roof for ventilation. A search of the structure was negative with no victims located and an all clear obtained. Fire was declared under control within 28 minutes. No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported. Fire investigators did respond to the scene. The cause of the fire remains undetermined. #abqfirerescue
