Conduit

I am conduit. My identity actually isn't writer of encouragement exclusively. While sometimes what I feel led to write might encourage (and for that I'm grateful!), that's not my identity specifically. My identity is more simply conduit writer. I am to receive the word given to me and allow it to flow discerningly out of me. Conduit into which His Word flows, through which His Word moves, and goes out to others in spoken and written word. My prayer is that He will fill the conduit to fullness so that it can freely overflow. I pray the inlet will be multiplied to receive more and more of Jesus Christ and to stay filled to fullness. I pray the Holy Spirit would dilate the outlet according to His perfect measure for each and every situation. Father, when a droplet will satisfy, give a droplet. And in those times, help me be disciplined to restrain my passion and not push forth more than you supply or require regardless of what I desire for the moment. Help me to trust your perfect portion and rest in the complete work You are doing. When a steady stream is required, enable me to give consistently by filling me fully and continuously. Finally, when a wellspring is required, let Your Power supply the need and my participation be pure and surrendered to Your Plan so that my contribution supports and does not hinder what you would want to do in and through me.
