During the past month a number of important milestones have been achieved. The deployment and welding of the pipeline through the first 3 km in the coastal mountain is now complete. Trench covering is now ongoing. The three pumping stations are nearing mechanical completion and should start precommissioning activities soon. Completion of the electrical supply works (substations, transmission lines) has also advanced significantly, and has progressed well beyond 93%. The electrical supply system feeding the desalination plant and the first pumping stations is already energized. Many challenges remain until the full completion of the project, but the extraordinary team of people at Aguas Horizonte and of our Owner's Engineer, in cooperation with our EPC Contractor are driving this project forward.
