This video shows the most frequently used exercises for my abs and back... better known as the core! I've had a few questions online and from friends about what I do to strengthen this area. Most of the exercises shown in this video can be done anywhere and at any fitness level.
I'm focusing on core workouts to prepare for sprinting but any sport can benefit from these movements. Mix and match these exercises to keep your workouts interesting and don't allow your body to learn one repetitive routine.
I'll incorporate these movements into my workouts 3 to 4 days within a week. I dropped 20+lbs from JAN-MAR 2011 doing this routine and jogging... no gym or weights! Just my medicine ball, jump rope, outdoor trails, the track, and changing my diet.
