My lowest range is firmly at around 19mi after doing a few 2kw tests and one 1500w test that only provided an extra mile. With more aggressive riding, I got 17.5mi. They mention A52L as an option, and it's highly unlikely a small battery with 60% the capacity of mine gets near my amount of range. As for the pedaling, I only really used it for 250w. It wasn’t regular PAS, but PAS disabled with 250w throttle, that way it was consistent power. With true 250w PAS, it can possibly be extended to 60-80mi. In my previous tests, the theoretical maximum range worked out to about 88 miles, but real-world efficiency varies a lot with speed, terrain, and especially controller behavior. This becomes most obvious in the high power modes. For example, in the 2 kW mode, my actual average wasn’t anywhere close to 2 kW — it was around 818 W. If I had really averaged 2 kW for the whole ride, my range would’ve been less than half of what I got at the same average speed. In other words, 2 kW is a peak value the bike only reaches near top speed, not something it sustains from a standstill. However, caveat with 2kw is that it likely ran 1600-1700w most of the time due to thermal throttling, hence the similar results to 1500w.
