I was able to remove the spring and air tube from my Model 94. As suspected the air tube remained in the gun. My homemade spring compression tool worked but the spring retainer was a bit stuck at first. I used a wooden dowels to push the air tube back flush with the abutment washer and then a 1/8 brass rod to finally push it free.
