In this tutorial we go over making a wall damage material in Substance Designer. Then we apply that material to a decal like model in order to add edge wear to a hole in a wall. This damage is versatile and can be used on a variety of surfaces like bricks or concrete.
We go through the process from Substance Designer, model creation, and Unreal Engine. With this method you can create a variety of convincing damage materials.
