Delta Amphibia WT
Delta Amphibia WT Panel is a hydro-expansive EPDM-based waterstop designed to prevent water from leaking from or into concrete structures by swelling when in contact with water and creating an impenetrable barrier. Delta Amphibia WT Panel can be used in conjunction with Delta Amphibia WT Expansion (a hydro-expansive waterstop) to seal contraction/control and expansion joint(s) including deteriorated, in any reinforced concrete structure. On contact with water, Delta Amphibia WT Panel hydrates, and swells to double its initial volume, offering a Hydrophilic seal to a joint. If the presence of water is not constant, Delta Amphibia WT Panel remains ermanently expanded. Delta Amphibia WT Panel is flexible, offering conformability to intricate details. Delta Amphibia WT Construction is a hydro-expansive waterstop with a centralised reinforced steel mesh, designed to prevent water from leaking from or into concrete structures through construction joints. Delta Amphibia WT Construction can swell by up to 5 times in volume in the presence of water creating a pressure seal while maintaining its density. When there is no moisture present Delta Amphibia WT Construction will reduce back to its original size. Delta Amphibia WT Construction is flexible, offering conformability to intricate details. Delta Amphibia WT Expansion is a hydro-expansive waterstop used to seal contraction and expansion joint(s) including deteriorated, in any reinforced concrete structures. Delta Amphibia WT Expansion has a high resistance to hydraulic loads, creating the optimal sealing of expansion and contraction joints. When Delta Amphibia WT Expansion contacts with water, the profiles can be hydrated until the hydrophilic polymer is saturated, thereby doubling the initial volume. This guarantees a perfect watertight seal at the structural expansion joints that are subjected to hydrostatic load. If the water presence is not constant, Delta Amphibia WT Expansion firmly maintains the expanded size. The profile slowly loses the previously absorbed water molecules if placed in an environment without humidity, thereby returning to its original size. When the product comes into contact with water once again, the expansion phenomenon is repeated with the same characteristics. Thanks to the chemical stability of Delta Amphibia WT Expansion, this phenomenon can be repeated without Delta Amphibia WT Expansion losing its expansion and pressure characteristics.
