An overview of the GeoDirectory Developer settings. Buy GeoDirectory here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/membership/ Documentation page: https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/165-settings-overview-general-developer Video transcript: Our developer settings hold a mix of advanced settings. Most settings here will never have to be changed. Advanced settings. Throughout GeoDirectory settings, you will see a button to toggle, show and hide of advanced settings. By default, we only show the most used settings so that new users don't get overwhelmed. With this setting, you can disable this feature and instead have advanced settings show all the time. Enable admin hints. When enabled, administrators of the site will see admin hints on the front end of the site. These hints can link to videos and documentation on how to edit or customize the page you are on. Enable 4o4 rescue. If you change up your permalink structure, search engine links to the old URLs will be wrong. This setting will auto redirect listings to the new URL. The redirect is done in such a way that it lets the search engine know, it should use the new URL. Enable beta addons. This setting will allow you to install beta versions of our extensions, it is best to disable this on productions sites. Default Design Style. This setting controls what version of our CSS is loaded. Our new BootStrap styles should always be selected. This setting is only for users who started with our old styles and have customized their site to match those. New features in GeoDirectory, only support BootStrap styles.
