An overview of the GeoDirectory Page Template settings. Buy GeoDirectory here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/membership/ Documentation page: https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/39-geodirectory-pages Video transcript: The GeoDirectory page settings are responsible for most of the frontend output of GeoDirectory. Editing these page templates will allow you to change the content and layout of your directory. For the main, non-template pages, you can change the URL slugs of the pages the normal WordPress way. Titles and metadata can be customized in our, "titles and meta", settings page. For each page, you have options to edit the page, view the page on the frontend, and view the default content. The default content can be used to restore a page to defaults. If, for some reason, any of your pages are missing, or you accidentally delete some. They can be restored by going to, GeoDirectory, Status, Tools, and then run the, "Create default GeoDirectory pages" tool. The location page can be thought of as your directory homepage. If you have our; paid location manager extension installed, this is where users will be redirected to when switching locations. Each location has its own specific URL, and will only show listings from the selected location. The Add listing page is the frontend page, users will use to add listings to your directory. The Search Page is the page users will arrive at when doing a search on your site. The Terms and Conditions page, is used if you add the terms and conditions custom field to your add listing page. When a user adds a listing, they will have to check the box to confirm they agree to your terms and conditions. Template pages, can't be viewed directly. They are used as templates that output the information for single and archive pages. If you are using our paid Custom Post Type Manager, you can specify pages per Custom Post Type. You will find these settings under, Places, Settings, General, Advanced, Template Page Settings. If you are using Elementor Pro, you can use their template builder to build these pages. (this feature is only available in the paid pro version, and not the free version of Elementor). Details Page, this controls the design and content of all single listings. Changing the template here will change the design of all single listings output. Archive page, this controls the output of category and tag pages. When building this page, to show the listings, you must use the "GD Loop block", and not the "GD Listings block". Archive item page, this template controls the design of the individual post templates on the archive page. This template is also used by the GD Listings block. Some of our paid extensions will add other template pages here. For example, our, "Compare Listings" extension, will add a template page, to control the page used to show compared listings.
