Devotional: Genesis 15:7-8
Is it okay to have questions in your faith? In Genesis 15:7–8, Abraham does something many of us can relate to. After years of following God and seeing His faithfulness, he still asks, “How can I know?” It is an honest question, not from rebellion, but from a place of wrestling and wanting reassurance. In this message, we explore the reality that faith is not the absence of questions. It is learning where to bring them. Too often, we carry unrealistic expectations about what spiritual maturity should look like, assuming that doubt or uncertainty means we are failing. But Scripture shows us something different. God does not rebuke Abraham for asking. He meets him in it. This message will help you rethink how you view doubt, expectations, and growth, and remind you that God is patient with you in every step of your journey. In this video: • Why faith and questions can coexist • How unrealistic expectations can distort spiritual growth • What Abraham’s question reveals about real trust • How God responds when we bring Him our doubts If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who needs to be reminded that bringing honest questions to God is part of walking with Him. #genesis #Faith #TrustGod #Grace #BibleTeaching #ChristianLife #Jesus
