Galaxy, Nightsky, Drumlins und und Elon Musk’s Starlink. Do they have something in common? Wait for the end, this is no shooting star. It’s many hundreds or so of Starlink(.com) satellites at 10 seconds exposure. Well, this is unfortunately not sponsored by Elon or Starlink 😜 Besides: “Drumlins” are no species of fairies, goblins, dwarfs or so from Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, it’s a geographical formation named like so. A drumlin, from the Irish word droimnín ("littlest ridge") is an elongated hill in the shape of an inverted spoon or half-buried egg. Formed by glacial ice acting on underlying unconsolidated till or ground moraine. Music: Edvard Grieg, “In der Halle des Bergkönigs, Peer Gynt Suite”, found uncredited and not strikes at https://youtu.be/eGCagrYoOUo #starlink #milkyway #galaxy #nightsky #nightskyphotography #drumlins #rolandrickphotography #harrypotter #lordoftherings #jrrtolkien #thehobbit Please check out also my Instagram account at https://www.instagram.com/rolandrickphotography/, my Flickr account at https://www.flickr.com/rolandrickphotography and/or my Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/rolandrickphotography/ - thanks!
