Digital assembly and accurate alignment
⚠️We found the misalignment before starting the alignment. In many workshops, alignment still follows a familiar pattern: assemble, measure, adjust… repeat — until it fits. It works. But it also means discovering issues when the job is already in progress. In this case, we took a different path. Before the pump reached the bench, we captured it using 3D laser scanning and rebuilt it digitally inside our Tribogna Service Center. The entire alignment was performed virtually first — in a controlled, data-driven environment. 📊 The outcome was clear: a deviation that would have only appeared during assembly was already fully visible and understood. So when the physical work began: • no trial-and-error was needed • no unexpected corrections slowed the process • no compromises were required to reach the target Just execution — aligned with what had already been validated digitally. When the real measurements matched the digital model, it confirmed something important: 👉 Alignment doesn’t have to be iterative 👉 It can be anticipated This is how digital tools are reshaping even the most traditional workshop activities — not by changing the objective, but by transforming the way it is achieved. 🎥 The video shows exactly what that looks like. 💬 Curious to see how digital alignment could change your next overhaul?
