When it comes to motivation, we are often told to focus on the positive. We are told to think big. We are told to look at photos of the fancy cars or houses that we'd like to buy. We've been told that if we only focus on what a great life we're going to have then it's only a matter of time until it becomes real.
Where did that philosophy get you?
Here's the truth. Focusing on the positive does have its place but there's another concept which I call "dirty fuel". This is something that can be used to drive you forward. This is a particularly powerful fuel source for those of you who are at the start of a project - whether it be a web development project or some other project.
