DIY Cake Pops

Hello everyone! So here is a quick and fun way to make and decorate Valentines day cake pops! There are many different ways to decorate cake pops and I hope this video inspired you! Ingredients: -Cooked cake(You can use any flavour and any type of cake whether its homemade or store bought) -Icing( any flavour and any type) -Cake pop sticks or paper straws(cut in half) -Sprinkles( your choice what type) -Assortment of bowls( to put sprinkles in,to mix,etc) -Fridge( I hope you have one!) -Scoop -PLATES! Recipe! 1. Bake a cake or buy one! 2. Let the cake cool down completely! 3. Crumble cake 150%! 4.Add frosting! Do not add too much because the cake pops will not create a solid ball. Start with 2 tbsps per 1 regular sized cake. Add more if necessary. The texture you are looking for is moist but not TOO sticky! Does that even make sense? 5. Use a scoop to create the perfect size of cake pops! 6. Plop the cake pop balls on a plate 7. Microwave chocolate in a deep,narrow cup! This way you can easily dip your chocolate! I suggest getting candy melts from Michaels and using a coupon to get a great price! 8. Poke holes in the cake pop ball with the stick you will be using! 9. Add melted chocolate to the end of the balls and reinsert the stick into the pre-made hole! 10. Refrigerate until cake pops are firm! I waited overnight just to be sure and have as much time as I wanted to dip them in chocolate! :) 11. Dip them in chocolate and stick them in styrofoam or a box with holes like I did! 12. Create cute designs and package if necessary! Store in a container and eat within a week! P.S. I have NO time to go out and buy styrofoam(whoops) so I took a box I had and stuck holes in it with the empty cake pop sticks! Make sure you make a small hole because the cake pop will stay up much easier this way! HOPE YOU ENJOYED!! Love you all and thanks for watching! P.S.
