DIY Fingerless Leather Gloves: Pattern
Usually, such gloves are sewn with special equipment, but we will show you how to sew them by hand. We recommend using elastic leather for sewing. Thin garment leather with high elasticity is ideal for these gloves. I use goat or calf leather with a thickness of 0.5-0.8 mm (approximately 2 ounces). If you want the gloves to fit your hand perfectly, choose a size slightly smaller than the palm circumference. For example, if your palm circumference is 20 cm, a size of 19-20 cm, as shown in the video, would be suitable. Please note that during the first wear, the gloves may feel a bit tight. However, leather quickly adapts to your hand and takes on the necessary shape. 00:00 Start 00:11 What leather to choose for gloves? 00:20 How to choose the size 00:24 Pattern preparation 00:53 This is important.
