DNS: Bear
Some people have asked why are our videos so long. There is a lot more to stability exercises than what appears. To improve stability and motor control with any exercise, you must be always maintaining ideal support, alignment, and activation. Too often, exercises are poorly taught. Some key points are either left out altogether or are simply demonstrated incorrectly. We try to make our videos as informative and accurate as possible. Check back often because our library of videos will be continually updated to make them as good as possible. Exercising in the Bear position is an excellent way to correct a variety of different problems. In the lower extremities, we use training in the Bear position to correct foot problems, patellar tracking issues, hip instability, and even hip impingement. The Bear exercise can also be used to correct secondary shoulder impingement syndromes and for frozen shoulder too. Neck pain, headaches, back pain, sciatica, and hip and knee problems can all be managed effectively with exercising correctly in the DNS Bear position.
