From March 23 - 25, 2026, film students from CU Denver visited Spirit Keeper Equine Sanctuary over the course of 3 days this week to create one short form documentary (about 10 minutes) and one long form documentary (45 minutes) about our work at the sanctuary, the 2025 snake hoarding situation, and reptile welfare. Both films will be released at film festivals later this year.
I was able to film a little bit of the behind the scenes before and after their filming. We appreciate the opportunity to be involved.
