Thomas may have doubted but remember two things, the Spirit hadn't been poured out and the others saw Jesus. What they saw was a man, not a ghost. Jesus provided proof of His physical resurrection and both times, it was that physicality that made all the difference. Going down the road of spiritual resurrection leads to some really bad theology.
