Drum flaker machine used to cool and solidify molten or high-temperature liquid materials through the surface of a rotating cooling drum to form thin flake solids. The material is evenly coated on the drum surface. As the drum rotates, the internal cooling medium takes away the heat, achieving rapid cooling and solidification of the material, and finally the solidified flakes are peeled off from the drum surface by a scraper. This equipment is suitable for continuous production processes in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
The desired flake size can be achieved by controlling the circumferential speed, layer thickness, and knife angle. Careful design ensures optimal utilization of the drum surface area, thereby maximizing throughput under selected operating conditions.
