While the E-Collar is an amazing and incredibly versatile tool, it's not a doggie remote! You have to TEACH your dog what you are trying to tell it. That's why it's important to have an initial E-Collar introduction so that your dog begins to associate listening and following through with a command to the tingling sensation being turned off. This is a short, one-time exercise to help your dog understand how this pressure on/pressure off system works.
