Jam Roly Poly is easy to make with this recipe, soft on the inside with a crunchy crust. Just use the jam of your choice.
Recipe:-
1 small knob of unsalted butter , for greasing
250 g self-raising flour
125 g shredded suet
25 g caster sugar , plus extra for sprinkling
100-150ml milk, use just enough to form dough
5 tablespoons quality raspberry jam
1 large free-range egg
Cooking:
200 degrees C for 30-40 minutes until golden and cooked through.
