EasyRoads3D is a road creation and scene building tool for the Unity engine. This is Part 3 of a series of videos side object related. This episode covers the Shape side object type. The Shape side object type generates the mesh along the spline path based on a 2D shape defined in the Shape Editor window. It can for example be used to quickly set up standard wall shapes, road shoulders but also for more complex purposes such as terrain deformation objects like river bed or river surfaces.
This video shows how we can create new presets of this side object type, how to define the shape and what additional options we have to control the end result in the scene.
