This is the second video in a series about the External Bus Interface on the ATxmega128A1U (XMEGA) microcontroller. In this video, Wes first further motivates the need for the EBI system, and then introduces the actual EBI system within the XMEGA. After more discussion, he then demonstrates how to interface with external devices such as an SRAM and an output port.
Several other sub-topics are also covered, such as partial versus full address decoding, time-multiplexing, address alignment/boundaries, etc.
