2026 started curiously. One swift appeared on 27th April for 2 nights in just one of our many boxes. We had about 7 nesting pairs last year. So, after 2 nights we saw nothing for about 10 days, then a switft appears, and an egg appears!! It was briefly joined by another swift on the following night. Then we see the egg being knocked out of the nest as the video shows. Following this, nothing seen! This is a bit sad for us. However, we see them flying about overhead quite a lot, so they are at least nesting somewhere. Its only May 13th, so there is time for some to take up residence here.... we live in hope
