This video explores the concept of electric fields from Theme D of the IB Physics SL & HL courses. Firstly, electric fields will be defined and electric field patterns constructed for single point charges as well as for combinations of charges and for parallel plates. Electric field strength is also introduced, and is related to the potential difference between parallel plates. The trajectory of charged particles moving between parallel plates is also covered.
