The growth of IPv6 usage on Facebook has been doubling every year – Now, over 10% of the world and 25% of USA use it to access Facebook. This growth will continue to rapidly accelerate, especially as large US and Europe-based mobile networks enable IPv6. This talk will highlight what this growth means for application developers and why it's important to embrace IPv6 over IPv4 because IPv6 will become a requirement for optimal performance and to continue growth and innovation on the Internet.
