EPLAN Remove Placement, Keep All Data and Reuse It

Ever deleted an article in EPLAN and lost all your properties? There's a better way. This video shows you how to remove placements from your schematic while keeping the article — with all its data — in the navigator. It's a common mistake: you want to remove an article from your schematic, hit delete, and everything is gone – all the properties you carefully filled in, lost. In this tutorial, I walk you through how to remove placed articles from your schematic without losing them in your project. The article stays in the navigator (Device Navigator, Terminal Strip Navigator, etc.) with all properties intact. You can then drag and drop it right back whenever you need it. I also show the difference between fully deleting an article and just removing its placement, so you know exactly when to use which method.
