Title: nmarank: An R package for answering complex hierarchy questions in network meta-analysis
Abstract: nmarank is available as a CRAN package and has its own shiny app at
https://thodoris-papakonstantinou.shinyapps.io/nmarankshiny/. It was build to address the fact that there is no unique best metric to summarise treatment ranking from nma results. Every metric answers a different hierarchy question with varying degrees of relevance to the decision maker or stakeholder. In marank one can define and construct any hierarchy question desired. The questions are represented as sets of conditions a hierarchy must fulfill. The answer we get is the probability the question is true. So in this tutorial we will be posing hierarchy questions in 5 levels of complexity in nmarankshiny.
