We demonstrate how to use Cranium's and Synapse's ability to estimate the physical properties of mixtures. We create two new chemicals, 2-methyloxolane (2MeOx) and gamma-valerolactone (gVL), specify only the molecular structure of each component, and then estimate the vapor-liquid phase envelope of their mixtures.
