This is known as the 'Liquid Smoke' experiment. Generally, smoke rises because it is hot, but as it passes through the cool paper cone, it cools down. Cold smoke is denser than the surrounding air, so instead of rising, it settles down into the glass and behaves like a liquid. #suryashree #science
