F*cking wax worms

Triangle (Tree swarm) Still not much in top box...no surprise given the time of year. Still honey and brood in the next box. I've got to get the bees out and a queen excluder Swiffer sheets are trapping SHB as well as the Beetle Be Gone sheets. More than a handful of bees above the inner cover...maybe venting or even guarding? Cross (Old queen) More drawn with honey on the top box. Tons of honey and brood in the next box. I flipped the frame at the wall with honey to see if they'd move it or fill the other side. Originally planned to get into the 3rd box to swap some undrawn frame I saw last time but it was crazy humid so I bailed. Circle (New Package) I had to scraped off the propolis from the feeder holes. Still not much drawn in the top box. Still plenty of honey and broom in the 2nd box but they've slowed down a bit. Keep the feeder on and added more 1:1. 8 frame (OG) Still not much in the top super. 2nd from top box had tons of brood/honey. Combined Swarm Traps Saw a wax worm as soon as I got into the box....ugh. Still only 4-5 frames drawn with a weaker pattern and maybe some drone brood higher than it should be on outer frames. Middle frames looked ok but these girls may not make it. Feed 2 more quarts of 1:1 and pollen patty. August 7, 2025 6:00 pm
