A challenging 40 bar jig (in four 10 bar phrases) for five couples in a longwise set.
The title is a reference to the "Cooper Pairs" (of electrons) responsible for the phenomenon of superconductivity. In this dance, using the "Wee Cooper o' Fife" 10 bar phrase tune, there are five such pairs. Note that the "extended espagnole" figure in quicktime is challenging and very hard to phrase neatly.
