Flexible risers crossing and hooking together (Flexcom)

Very interesting Flexcom model showing flexible risers crossing and becoming hooked together when a mid-water arch system is subjected to cross (90 degree) current and wave loading. For ease of viewing, some risers are hidden, so you can more clearly see the water injection riser (blue and purple) crossing over the production riser (white/grey) and becoming hooked around it. Stress contouring shows the elevated bending moments experienced by the water injection riser during and following the interaction.
