Continuing with the ‘Interlinear Flourishes’ you can see how the delicacy of the line and its corresponding shade creates magic. All of these flourishes you learn separately and then learn how to use them together. The placing of them is key, as is the lightness of the shade. The shades shouldn’t be as heavy as the writing. It is just meant to pepper the text lightly.
