Schwabe Model SR500 Schwabe High Stroke Forming Press The Freeman Schwabe® Model SR Large Format Flat Bed Die Cutting Press, has a die cutting press structure that is simple with only three moving parts: the platen, center guide and hydraulic cylinder rods. Due to the design simplicity, the maintenance of the die cutting press itself is limited to lubrication. The Model SR Large Format Flat Bed Die Cutting Press has no linkage movement, no bushings or bearings which are often hidden inside the die cutting press weldment which can then become very expensive to repair, maintain and replace. Another feature of the Model SR Large Format Flat Bed Die Cutting Press allows for full tonnage over the entire stroke of the platen. The hydraulic cylinders are removable from the open structure of the top piece not hidden in a table bed structure. The hydraulic cylinder rod seals can be changed easily and effortlessly without removing the cylinder which is required in other press designs. The working height of the Model SR Large Format Flat Bed Die Cutting Press is ergonomically friendly, while also offering a unique side-die loading/unloading feature to ensure tool changes are less than five minutes. Tonnage capacity is up to 2,500 and is designed with standard sizes or can be tailored to your specific application requirements. The Model SR Large Format Flat Bed Die Cutting Press is ideal for through-cutting, kiss-cutting, molding/trimming and lamination programs and can be configured with heated platens for die-cut heat seal applications. This die cutting press works equally well with roll goods or sheeted materials and can be tailored for numerous types of material infeed and outfeed systems. The hydraulic power unit is conveniently a free-standing power unit for easy access and maintenance.
