I developed this routine over time and it really helped me to make progress in my front splits. It is a combination of passive/relaxed & loaded stretching! 1. Warm up your whole body...ideally incorporate it as the last element of your training 2. Lunge lateral / 2 sets per side x 10s 0:18 3. Lunge straight / 2 sets per side x 10s 0:45 4. Cossack squat foot flat / 2 sets per side x 10s 1:14 5. Cossack squat foot upright / 2 sets per side x 10s 1:34 6. Standing calf stretch / 1 set per side x 30s 1:54 7. Standing quadriceps stretch / 1 set per side x 30s 2:08 8. Hip flexor stretch / 1 set per side x 30s 2:23 9. Hamstring stretch / 1 set per side x 30s 2:38 10. Gluteus stretch / 1 set per side x 30s 3:12 11. Quadriceps stretch / 1 set per side x 30s 3:26 12. Relaxed warm up front split stretch / 1 set per side x 30s 5:02 13. Dynamic loaded front split stretch / 1 set per side x 7 reps 5:34 14. Loaded front split stretch / 2 sets per side x 30s 6:31 15. Relaxed front split stretch / 1 set per side x 45s 8.07 16.
