Please check: http://balance.ifz.me CREDITS Futurecore 2000 GLORIA HÖCKNER (choreography, concept, dance) is a freelance choreographer and performer. In her artistic work she is concerned with the body and its relationship to (power) structures, the hybridity of cultural forms such as dance, and the transformative potential of sound experience. https://gloriahoeckner.hotglue.me/ MARC CARRERA (dance) works as choreographer and physical theatre artist in Berlin and Hamburg. He studied philosophy at the University of Barcelona and Performance Studies at the University of Hamburg. With "Das Kollektiv" he has been leading the Physical Theatre course in Berlin since 2013. SU JIN KIM (dance) is a dancer, choreographer and dance mediator. She studied ballet and contemporary dance and graduated from the MA Performance Studies at the University of Hamburg. CAROLIN JÜNGST (dramaturgy) is a freelance choreographer, performer and dramaturg. She studied Theatre/Dance Science & Philosophy, completed a Dance Trainee Programme at the Leipzig Dance Theatre and graduated from the M.A. Performance Studies in Hamburg. FELIX JUNG & MARC EINSIEDEL (space installation/stage) have been working together as an artist duo under the name wearevisual in Hamburg since 2010. In their working methods they try to artistically analyze different aspects of public space in order to intervene in them through the process of adding, misappropriating and recycling. ZOË MC PHERSON (sound design/musical direction) is an interdisciplinary artist. Her live sets, DJ sets and AV performances move at the junction between progressive club music, audiovisual culture and hypnotic sound design. MAREK LAMPRECHT & BJÖRN SALZER (lighting) design light for dance, theatre and performances on and in front of stages, in public spaces and hairdressing salons. GLORIA BRILLOWSKA (costume) studied fashion design at HAW Hamburg. Since 2013 she works as a freelance costume designer for various directors and choreographers. __ General Balance Club / Culture Festival is an annual interdisciplinary event based in Leipzig (Germany) featuring club nights, concerts, art and discourse.
