This is a "starting point" for making a boss. Things I have included:
1. The boss is not "one hit" - I have to hit him three times. I use an object variable called "health"
2. The more hits he takes, the harder he gets. I've used the option where "Fire bullets" can shoot multiple bullets at a time.
3. When the boss dies, he doesn't just blink out - I spawn a big particle effect where he was
4. It's nice to have a reward when he dies - I gave myself lots of gold coins
