Godot Procedural Level Generator | Devlog Inspired by the procedural layouts in games like Hades and Enter the Gungeon, I built a level generator in Godot that automatically creates unique layouts for my indie game, and no two levels are ever the same. In this devlog I walk through how the Level Creator works: defining area types like normal, start, exit, safe room and treasure, setting connection rules between rooms, and letting the dungeon generator figure out the rest. The map generation happens in seconds and every randomized layout feels unique. Then I play through a generated level to see how it actually feels in real gameplay.
