Google Maps Scraper — Pure Python requests, no browser

A Google Maps scraper built from scratch using pure Python requests library — no Playwright, no Selenium, no paid APIs. The scraper hits Google's internal protobuf endpoints directly to extract: - Place name, category, rating, address, website, phone number - All reviews with author, star rating, date, and text - Filtered views by star rating (5-star, 1-2 star) Works for any place on Google Maps — restaurants, hotels, cafes, anything. Comes with a clean web UI (localhost:8000) and a command line version for bulk scraping.
