Grim Natwick Animation #3
Scenes (some presumably) animated by the late and great animator, Myron "Grim" Natwick (1890-1990). Amongst animation fans, Grim is well-known for his surreal method to the animation process and his ability to draw accurate female anatomy at a time when that was considered to be extremely difficult. However, he was also an animation veteran if there ever was one. Having cut his teeth under early animation pioneers Bill Nolan and Ub Iwerks, he could be considered a master of the rubber hose-style of animation, but he was also adept at animating under more modern styles too, like those at Disney or UPA. From that time on, he would train many animators, some who would go on to become legends in their own right such as Marc Davis and Tissa David. Truly, he was a very versatile and exceptional animator. A very special thanks to Devon Baxter, WHYx3, and nico ∞ for their wonderful help in cobbling this video together!
